<div>This is a 65 minute film produced by 24th Mechanised Brigade (24MB) documenting in graphic detail the harrowing experiences of front-line soldiers in the battle defending Chasiv Yar (24MB has been holding this position since April 2024. They remain there today. </div><div><br></div><div>The Ukrainian Civil Defence organisations (military, fire and rescue, paramedics and health service estimate that each vehicles contributes to saving approximately 10 lives by ensuring casualties are transported to medical facilities as soon as possible. The civil defence service are extremely grateful for the assistance received and are planning a visit to Scotland between mid November and December to thank supporters in person and update audiences on the progress of the war and specifically what 24 Mechanised Brigade (24Mech Bde) have been doing in defence of their country. Within the ranks of volunteers they have identified those with technical skills such as camera operator, sound engineers, editors, producers and experience of directing to produce a film which I would very much like to view at the Birks. A brief summary of their visit itinerary follows below and I would welcome the opportunity to show you extracts in the hope you might agree to show the film. You will gather from the brief below that there are two parts; the standalone film and the street show a few posters from which could perhaps be displayed in your foyer.
