Driven by <a href="https://plantone.co.uk/">Plant One CIC</a>, the campaign aims to create 500 hectares of ‘fish forests’ across Cornwall – species-rich, biodiverse woodlands that will feed and protect our oceans for generations to come.</div><div><br></div><div><div>No Trees No Seas is a campaign calling for the restoration of Britain’s coastal woodland as one of the most powerful tools we have to restore the health of our seas.</div><div><br></div><div>Groundbreaking new research has shown that when we restore forests – particularly temperate rainforests in places like Cornwall and Devon – we can heal our seas too. This has been proven in Japan. The No Trees No Seas campaign seeks to prove that it’s possible in the UK too.</div><div><br></div><div>The campaign is being led by Plant One, a Cornish community interest company. To prove this can work here, they are planting and restoring 500 hectares of coastal woodland across Cornwall over the next five years. The campaign is centered around a film – No Trees No Seas – and is supported by various scientists and environmentalists as well as leading clothing and lifestyle brand, Finisterre, and Verdant Brewing Co.</div></div>PT1Htbc
